Additional Notes: This is obviously not a Gate 5 recording, but where else could you put it? During the aborted attempt at Quadraphonic sound in the 1970's, Columbia remastered "The World of Harry Partch" for their SQ system. I don't recall exactly what this sounded like, and the 4-channel turntable I have has long since fallen into disrepair; I'm think they just ping-ponged the sound around. I can't imagine Columbia sold many -- I found this one in a cut-out bin (notice lower right-hand corner. Anyone know if Partch ended up on 8-track tapes?
